Who dat cat?

From dogs to cats. Have I mentioned that Merlin got his name partly because he has always had a thing about caves? Well, whilst son was watching this encounter in the back garden this morning...
(look closely under the magnolia tree)

someone snuck into the backpack he takes to work...

I can't believe that Archer either didn't notice that deer or didn't care...

I do miss our cats terribly, however I spied a particularly gorgeous black one today so I feel slightly better. Besides, there's always the birds.

He did notice the deer, he just wasn't sure what to do with it.

And there was this really interesting blackbird hopping around on the sun-lounge roof, you know? The sort a cat needs to keep a close eye on just in case it decides to sneak some food off the bird-table or something.

That's very cute. And hysterical. I take it son did notice...? *g*

Hi Kate,

Yes, he did notice! It is a slight hazard leaving open bags around in our house. We had to evict Merlin twice from the one daughter packed her clothes in for uni.

...where he was leaving lovely cat hairs all over the nice clean clothes I was taking back.

I didn't actually mind much, it made it feel homely.

Oh, I see a tabby tail, lol.

That's too cute!

My tabby insists on having his bed on my desk. I've tried to relocate him several times to the top of the book shelf, which is just shoulder height. He'll have no part of it. Sits on my desk and screams at me until I replace his bed...under the lamp, where he curls up and naps.

Takes up a lot of room, but he's so peaceful there.

*shrug*

Lee - nice of you to drop by. I used to have a cat who would curl up quiet as you please in my box of printer paper (remember those days when all you could get was fan-fold?) so every time I tried to print out a few pages, there would be this dreadful ripping sound...
